The Effect of Music on the Motivation of Athletes in Taekwondo and Karate Training

, This study examines the effect of music on motivation during sports activities in taekwondo and karate training. A total 258 active athletes between ages 12 18 be engaged (n=159) (n=99) branches participated voluntarily. “The Effect Music Sports Activities Scale (SUMEÖ),” developed by Karayol Turhan (2020), was used to collect data study. The scale consists items, has 3 sub-dimensions, is a 5-point Likert type. were collected using digital web technologies. Descriptive statistics made for demographic variables analysis research data. Data obtained from analyzed IBM SPSS Statistics 26 program. According results analysis, it can said that type chosen upbeat significant activities. In training with technical exercises step, determined listening fast-paced themselves increase while slow-paced contributes recovery process. It tool motivate reducing stress gender variable factor affecting different branches.
